The Lightkeepers Project is committed to meeting children where they are and helping in the ways that matter most.

🤝 Build Relationships

We believe consistency matters. Lightkeepers build meaningful connections with children so they know there are adults who will show up, listen, encourage them, and remind them that they are not alone.

❤️ Meet Practical Needs

Sometimes help begins with the basics. We work to provide things such as food, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, and other necessities when a child or family needs extra support.

We also want to be there for the moments that matter. Through fundraisers, donation drives, and community support, we hope to help children with back-to-school needs, Christmas gifts, birthdays, and other special occasions or unexpected needs that arise. Whether it is something essential or simply something that helps a child feel remembered and celebrated, we want them to know they have people in their corner.

✨ Help Them Move Forward

Our goal isn’t only to help children through a difficult moment. We want to help them find resources, opportunities, support, and people who can help them move toward a safer, brighter future.

Sometimes that may mean helping a family find a needed resource. Other times it may mean advocating for a child, connecting them with additional support, or simply staying beside them while they take their next step forward.

🌟 Celebrate Every Child

Every child deserves to feel seen for more than what they have been through. We celebrate their accomplishments, encourage their interests and dreams, and remind them that their circumstances do not define who they are or who they can become.

🌎 Strengthen Our Community

We work alongside families, volunteers, schools, organizations, and community partners whenever possible because helping a child often takes more than one person. By bringing people together around children who need support, we can create a stronger community where fewer children are left feeling unseen or forgotten.

No matter what the need looks like, we want to find a way to help-or help connect that child with someone who can. That is how we shine.

Every child’s needs are different, so the way we show up for them may look different too.
